I'm having a great time in my first two days here. I have met many wonderful people, and I am enjoying the process of learning the reporter application. I have installed it and am studying the code and processes.
Here at BlueCoat, they provide lunches every Friday. Next week, we have a big release party at Jordan Commons, where we will eat at the Mayan and then go to a movie. Sounds like a lot of fun.
They expect you to enjoy your time at work and to take breaks and play games or watch TV - it actually seems like between that and the drinks/snacks, they really don't want you to ever leave the office.
Last night for my Birthday, I enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Breanna - it was chicken fingers, green beans, and salad. Desert was a low-carb Chocolate Pecan Nut Crust Cheesecake - it was DELICIOUS. Then, I got about 7 new shirts that I can wear to work. After that, we decided that since it was so cold, we would go to a movie - problem was that we couldn't find one we wanted to see. So we rented a very good movie called Outlaw Trail. I really enjoyed it.
Well, that's all for today. Hope everyone is doing well.
